This rural site presented a few challenges. Cal Trans had previously used the site as a landfill and thus site preparation took much more time than is typical. There were also significant grade changes to understand in order to design a disabled path of travel to every apartment building. The project was completed in 2016, and fits right into an existing rural neighborhood.
